Polynucleotides

What are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are tiny purified molecules injected into the skin which encourage it to maintain its youthful appearance. They are commonly referred to as biostimulators or biorevitalisers. This injectable is a cosmetic treatment quickly gaining popularity due to its ability to promote skin regeneration and encourage revitalisation naturally.

What do Polynucleotides do for your skin?

Polynucleotides help your skin to heal, repair and glow! By stimulating your cells to produce their own collagen and elastin, they will improve skin quality, firmness and elasticity. Polynucleotides are great for reducing fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes. We also recommend the treatment if you are looking for help with any acne scarring or rosacea.

Where can I have Polynucleotides?

This injectable product can be used for the face, along with the neck and decolletage areas. We also offer a specialised Polynucleotide injectable designed specifically for the delicate eye area.

Are polynucleotides natural?

Yes!  Polynucleotides are of natural origin and derived from European freshwater fish intended for human consumption, which most closely resembles human DNA.

How often should I have a Polynucleotide treatment?

For best results, we recommend that patients opt for a course of 3-4 treatments. You practitioner will always tailor your treatment plan specifically to your skin and desired outcome.

What can you expect after a polynucleotide treatment?

You can expect improved skin texture, tone and hydration. Polynucleotide’s are particularly great for acne scarring, and reducing any redness created by Rosacea.

How long do the results last?

Typically, the effects of these treatments last 6 to 12 months. Regular treatments can provide more noticeable and long-lasting results.

What other treatments would you recommend alongside Polynucleotide injectables?

Polynucleotides not only rejuvenate your skin on their own, but they also enhance other treatments as they create a brilliant foundation. Polynucleotides are best teamed with other treatments for ultimate results.

What is the cost?

A course of 3 treatments is required, and costs £895 for the package. Each treatment is one month apart. Your practitioner will advise on your recommended treatment plan during your consultation.

That JLo Glow

The JLo Glow everyone will be having this summer.

I was super excited to see that HydraFacial had launched a booster serum in collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, the queen of glowing skin – especially as Summer sun can be hard on the skin.

Why have a HydraFacial?

The ‘6 facials in 1′ HydraFacial helps to:

remove toxin build up with lymphatic drainage

deeply cleanse and exfoliate and tackle any congestion

– extract any blackheads or clogged pores

– remove debris and brighten skin

boost hydration

–  Stimulate collagen with LED light therapy

Why add on a booster?

The booster element is a fantastic way to tailor the treatment to your skin, and tackle any concerns  – from rosacea, acne or pigmentation.

The Jennifer Lopez booster which is based on her award winning ‘JLo glow serum’, aims to tighten, hydrate and brighten. Having just come back from a sunny holiday my skin needed a serious pick me up, so I was very excited to know Look Lovely London had the new booster in the clinic.

Is it worth the hype?

My excitement levels were pretty high as Jennifer Lopez has the most beautiful glowy and dewy skin which I have always envied! I had high hopes going into my treatment. My skin was looking very dull, congested and had no brightness to it, so the HydraFacial and booster had some serious work to do to get my skin ready for the weekend! I was delighted to hear during the treatment that the booster was being absorbed by my skin very happily (it very much needed it!)

The results

Straight after the treatment my skin was already looking so much better! My congestion looked calmer, and I finally had bright skin again. I made sure to get a good night’s sleep and drank extra water, to give my skin the extra boost it needed. To truly test the booster, I went into work the next day with zero make up on – and no one even noticed! I had the JLo glow!

Verdict- 10/10 – leaving your house without make up can be daunting but after seeing how bright and dewy my skin looked, I had full confidence in doing so!  This is the biggest compliment I can give the treatment. Thank you, Jennifer Lopez! I will definitely be including the booster in my future HydraFacial appointments!

Why live with sun spots? Remove them with Cryopen

Why live with sun spots?

In my early 30’s I was partial to a bit of sun in Ibiza and Vegas, living the dream, and rarely using cream! However, in my late 30’s I started to notice some unsightly dark brown spots around my nose and on my central cheek area. The seemed to get darker over the summer months, and one spot was the size of a 5 pence piece! Even in the winter, with cover up you could still see them popping through my makeup towards the end of the day. After trying to conceal them with no avail I went to see my GP to find out what they were and what could be done. The GP simply reassured me they were called ‘sun spots’ or ‘liver spots’ – all benign, but permanent and not removable on the NHS. Benign meant not dangerous but I didn’t like the sound of circles of dark pigmentation on my face from a misspent decade in my 30’s.

I got some creams…..

I went down the usual route of over-the-counter pigmentation creams  which did absolutely nothing to the sun damaged spots. I started to get self-conscious about these 3 pesky patches on my face, and felt like people were looking at them when chatting to me. I then investigated further and decided to go for IPL to lift the patches and hopefully clear them.

Now I won’t bash IPL treatments –  as this light pulse laser treatment did wonders for my overall complexion. The treatment cleared redness and lightened my overall pigmentation but sadly the patches remained. I then went on to do a deep peel, and again the pigmentation cleared but the spots didn’t budge.

I was then at a loss of what to do, so I booked my appointment with Look Lovely London and saw Hannah who has been treating me for a decade.

It was time for professional help

Hannah gave me a detailed consultation and then proceeded to explain the best way to finally clear the 3 patches was to use the Cryopen. She explained this freezing pen would eradicate the spots within 2 weeks and leave me with clear, new skin underneath. I wish I had known about this treatment sooner! Basically, the Cryopen can clear anything unsightly on the face and body like moles, warts or even collections of vessels.

The treatment took 5 minutes and was almost painless. Hannah told me it was pressurised liquid nitrous oxide that destroyed the top layer of the dark skin to freeze off the pigmentation. No aesthetic was needed, and I left with just a tingle on the skin that cleared within 45 mins. The team told me the spots may get darker for 2 days and then slightly scab over and clear within 10 days. I was prepared for this and simply put a little cover up on the area after a day.

Within 10 days, they had vanished! I was absolutely delighted. I kicked myself for not researching this simple treatment sooner and having to live with them spots for 3 years before getting them cleared. Hannah advised me to look after my skin in the future wearing SPF 50 cream to prevent any further pigmentation and sun damage. Now being sensible and after my IPL and cryotherapy treatments, my skin is a clear as it was in my twenties!

Forma – Radiofrequency Skin Tightening

What is Forma?

Forma is a radio frequency skin tightening treatment. It is a non-invasive procedure that uses heat and radiofrequency to increase collagen production both in the face and body resulting in lifting, tightening, and contouring your skin, almost like ironing your skin – in turn helping reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles – and aiding recovery from age spots and hyperpigmentation. Forma can be used on both the face and body. Commonly treated areas on the face include: forehead, crows feet, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck. On the body, popular treatments consist of the arms (bat wings), abdomen and other areas that may need more refinement.

Why have Forma?

Forma is a great treatment for anyone who is looking for a non-invasive yet visibly rewarding result. It is great for anyone who has concerns of jowling, lose of skin laxity, a sunken or even a tired look in the skin. This treatment is used to achieve a tightened and more lifted result along with improving the skin’s overall appearance giving smoother skin and a more radiant glow.

How does Forma work?

Forma works using radiofrequency energy to target deep layers of the skin, with no area being under or over treated. This ensures maximum and consistent results. During the procedure the device will be placed on the targeted skin, which emits radiofrequency energy to heat up the tissue and stimulate the production of collagen. The heat also causes the underlying tissue to contract, resulting in a tighter and firmer appearance. The device is moved over the treatment area in a continuous motion, gradually heating the skin to optimal temperature. The treatment is designed to be comfortable, and patients often describe it as feeling like a warm massage. The results are typically noticeable immediately after the treatment, and continue to improve over time as the collagen production is stimulated. Multiple treatments are  recommended for optimal results, and maintenance treatments may be needed to sustain the result over time.

What areas can be treated with Forma?

Forma can be performed on various areas of the face and body, some of the most common treatment areas include:

Face: Forma can be used to tighten and lift sagging skin on the forehead, around the eyes, cheeks, jowls and jawline.

Neck: Forma can help tighten loose skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the neck and decolletage area.

Arms: Forma can be used to tighten and smooth out loose skin on the upper arms, it is a great way to tighten (bat wings) or any loose skin from ageing or weight loss.

Abdomen: Forma can help to tighten and firm the skin on the abdomen, especially after weight loss or pregnancy.

Thighs and buttocks: Forma can be used to tighten and smooth out loose skin on the thighs and buttocks – a very common area for many of us to suffer with a lose of skin laxity.

What is the downtime of Forma?

One of the huge advantages of forma is that there is little to no downtime associated with the treatment. Unlike more invasive skin-tightening procedures, such as surgery, forma is a non-invasive treatment that does not require any incisions or anaesthesia. After the treatment, some patients may experience mild redness, swelling, or a warm sensation in the treated area, but these side effects typically resolve within a few hours. It is important to protect the treated area from sun exposure and to follow any aftercare instructions provided by your skincare professional. Most patients are able to return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules or who want to avoid any downtime associated with many facial treatments, however it is important to note that individual results may vary.

How many sessions are required?

It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals’ may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks in between each treatment. Scheduling should be based on a medical consultation. We would usually recommend a course of 6 at a minimum.

Can Forma be used in combination with other treatments?

Yes, forma can be used in combination with most other laser treatments, facials, injectables and/or filler.

An amazing treatment to combine –  and one we do many of – is the amazing and well known Hydrafacial + Forma – a treatment we know as HydraTight. This is a wonderful treatment for anyone who is looking for not only a lift and tighten, but to also target some more specific skin concerns. We start the treatment with our multi step HydraFacial ensuring you have the most clean, hydrated and protected skin before your Forma treatment. This allows Forma to work at a deeper level, allowing you to receive the absolute best results!

Hydrafacial or Microneedling with mesotherapy?

THE ANSWER IS – YOU NEED BOTH!

Hydrafacial + microneedling with mesotherapy = skin perfection

Being a big fan of the Wow Facial at Look Lovely London –  I was very surprised when it was suggested that I book for not just one new treatment – but two combined together. Who knew that was even  thing?

Having spent a week in September enjoying some heat abroard (with SPF this time) – it was slightly annoying to arrive back to London to not only rain, but a face covered in small under the skin spots. Having spent the last 9 years of my twenties spending a lot of money on skin treatments and products, I mostly have been able to keep my acne prone skin at bay. However, a week spent tanning and enjoying the pool and sea, caused a bit of havoc for me! Most of us find after summer our skin needs a big boost of hydration to restore it back to its dewy best and now, I not only needed this – but also needed a treatment to calm my skin and reduce my inflammation. The day after landing these small spots seemed to not only get bigger, but more were forming under the skin.

I visited the clinic and was recommend the HydraFacial combined with the micro needling mesotherapy treatment by Marlena. I am always up for trying a new treatment, and was also extremely desperate to get my skin back under control as quickly as I could.

We started with the 6 step HydraFacial to help clear my congestion and calm the skin. I should say it was looking very red pre treatment and the spots under the skin were big especially on my cheek! The peel stage did feel a bit tingly, but I was reassured that was a good sign and the extracting device felt amazing as you know it is pulling out every blackhead and impurity. The LED light was also used to help calm the inflammation as different lights can be used for different concerns.

After this we moved onto the micro needling with mesotherapy stage, where Marlena used different needle depths across my face to give me the best treatment. This section of the treatment was to help rejuvenate my skin and push it towards healing with fresh new skin. The mesotherapy really brightens and gives the skin a glow and as I had the HydraFacial first, we gave it the best cleansed base to work with.  The treatment took about 45 minutes in all (perfect for someone who does not always find the time to book in for treatment) I was then advised to not use any active products for 3 days to allow my skin time to heal. I was slightly red for a few hours following the treatment but nothing major and I did not apply any make up until the following day.

The most important bit now is the results I have had- it took around 4 days for most of my blemishes to literally disappear and somehow even the bigger blemishes went by day 5. I am now at day 6 and even I can’t believe how quickly my skin has healed. It looks so bright and clean, and I even felt confident enough to go to the gym last night without any make up on. Although it is never enjoyable to have breakouts this has led me to fully appreciate the power of a HydraFacial combined with micro needling and mesotherapy. I am already looking forward to my next one.

Global shortage of anti wrinkle injections

On March 27th we woke up to a changed world with regards to anti-wrinkle treatments. Our previously loved product which we knew offered fantastic results- Azzalure was rapidly diminishing in supply across the UK and the boxes could only be sourced in small numbers. By April 1st (no joke) there was a nationwide halt in the production of Azzlaure. The main pharmaceutical company declared they were unable to give us a date of when production would restart.

We have been told this has nothing to do with the Ukraine /Russian war as the actual product – Botulinum toxin is made in France.  As panic amongst clinics grew, very little information was given to hundreds of companies across the country, who offered this much needed, and for some, essential treatment.

At Look Lovely London, we were not happy with the information we had been given so we decided to do further investigating. We needed to get to the bottom of the rapidly unfolding situation, where the supply chain of a much-loved product was coming to an end. We have now been told the little glass vials the products is careful shipped over to the UK in, is in fact made in China. And the problem lies in China where they have been having issues sourcing the glass.

After gaining this information we acted quickly and wisely to ensure we could continue offer anti-wrinkle treatments and managed to source an equally great product from a rival pharmaceutical company called Allergan. From my 12 years of injected I am confident this brand will still offer the fantastic results you are looking for, be it completely wrinkle-free or natural.

The story continued to unfold- On April 5th it was announced there was a global shortage of all brands as so many clinics moved across. At this stage all the main pharmaceutical companies pushed their prices up by 30%. This will be financially crippling for many clinics and may cause closures.

At Look Lovely London we want to reassure you we will continue to act swiftly and source Botulinum toxin, having a good relationship with their representatives. Sadly, due to the sharp increase in costs we will need to review our pricing in the coming weeks.

We appreciate times are difficult for everyone but please be aware any small price increase is not driven by profit but by a squeeze from our suppliers. We know that some clinics will move across to cheaper, less effective brands of anti-wrinkle – which will offer inferior results and last a shorter amount of time. However at Look Lovely London we insist on only using the safest and clinically proven products available in the industry. We will not compromise on quality.

Feeling the burn! The retinol burn that is…….

This is the one blog I didn’t think I’d be writing – and is somewhat embarrassing for someone who works in an Aesthetic Clinic and uses medical-grade skincare creams at home.

Today I am writing this having only just recovered from my flakey face due to a retinol burn. There’s still a bit of a ‘situation’ on my neck (of which I don’t even remember putting it on there!) but hey, the worst is over. It’s been an emotional and impossible situation to run away from!

If you’re thinking about using a retinol cream, ensure you have a full skin consultation with a skincare specialist beforehand. This will make sure you keep your skin safe and healthy.

Book an appointment with our skincare experts

What does retinol burn look like?

My journey into face dandruff started about 10 days ago – after I saw a big write up on a certain retinol product, that began trending online. I hadn’t used it before and thought I’d give it a go. Everyone raves about retinol as it encourages faster skin cell turnover which means dead skin cells are removed quicker.

Dermatologists recommend we should all be using retinol as part of our skincare routine as soon as we hit 30. It’s a vitamin A cream that stimulates the skin cells to help repair them, boosting collagen. This means:

  • Less fine lines
  • No more crepey skin
  • Clearing of pigmentation
  • Less acne

It also refines your pores and gives your skin a baby soft feel and a wonderful glow. I mean what’s not to love! I was keen to get started again, as winter is the best time to use retinol.

Sensitive skin and irritation

Some of the main symptoms of retinol burn include:

  • Dry skin
  • Skin sensitivity
  • Painful irritation
  • Redness
  • Flaky skin

First night – I applied it somewhat sparingly and didn’t notice a thing. I just made it part of my overall skincare regime. The next 2 evenings – I repeated the process of applying retinol to my skin. Let’s just say the third time around things didn’t go quite to plan as I noticed a little tingling – but thought nothing of it. The sinister side of me likes to feel that something is working, so this didn’t panic me.

Queue the next morning – to say that my skin was feeling a little tighter is an understatement. If you can imagine plastering your face in egg whites and then letting it dry you’ll get an understanding of what happened. I wasn’t quite sure what had happened to my skin overnight (as an experienced user!) but with the application of any product (excluding my SPF) – there was burning, stinging…. and then all overall tingling! It wasn’t pleasurable. My skin wasn’t red or visibly inflamed – it just felt tight and mildly on fire.

Retinol irritation

The next day the dryness kicked in. This is where I abandoned consulting google and ran back to the clinic team for some sound advice. To my disbelief, I was experiencing what is called retinol burn. Retinol burn occurs after you use skin care products that introduce your skin to high amounts of retinol.

Retinol burn typically occurs within 24 hours. I knew I had been naughty as Melissa told me clearly when I first started, to go slow – twice a week at most and gradually build up my skin tolerance. However, in the world of instant gratification (as my skin had been fine in the past) I kicked off nightly.

How to treat retinol burn

So now with a diagnosis, my immediate thought was how to treat retinol burn. I was prepared to invest in whatever product was going to help me. Do I ride it out? Lather it in products? Put on a face mask? Exfoliate like a nutter?

The advice was to do nothing apart from splashing it with cold water. I just didn’t know what to do and felt a bit helpless. I had read that perhaps buffering it with moisturiser would have prevented it – but it was all a little too late! It was time to step away from the retinol routine until my skin calmed down.

It’s advised to do nothing but keep a very simple skincare routine to further prevent retinol burn or skin inflammation.

How long does retinol burn last?

Most sources claim it can take a week to normalise and it will usually clear up on its own and believe it or not, this can be a perfectly normal side effect.

So here we are 6 days later. After going back to basics, my skin has recovered (and looking better than ever) but the memory haunts me. The lesson to be learnt here is if you begin using retinol products– start slow.

How to avoid retinol burn

Retinols are fabulous products, but you need to attend a skin clinic for a full skin assessment to ensure you don’t suffer an allergic reaction. Don’t be tempted to buy a cheap one online, you need a thorough skin assessment to work out which concentration of retinol and composition is best for you.

Retinols and prescription retinoids vary in ingredients – some act as skin brighteners, some as skin tighteners. If you are investing in retinol, purchase the right one for you. Secondly, be guided by your skin specialist about how to start the creams and continue to use them.

Always invest in decent medical-grade retinol, as the method of delivery of the key ingredients into the skin, is so much more effective if clinically tested – rather than poor quality retinol that often only deliver about 15% of the good stuff to your skin. Medical grade retinol delivers around 80% of the key ingredients to the skin. So you can start off with a lower percentage cream and still get very powerful results (as experienced with my burn).

**UPDATE: as this goes live – I am now back using retinol! Hooray! **

My Sculptra® Experience at Look Lovely London

Sculptra® is growing in popularity here at the clinic. How are our clients finding the experience? One of our long-standing clients gave us her account of her experience

“I’ve been going to LLL for over 10 years now so when I heard about a collagen-stimulating treatment that would revitalise my skin, volumise hollow areas and improve my skin texture I had to try it out.

Typically I love anti wrinkle injections and Profhilo but in my early 60’s I’ve noticed my skin has become more crepey and loose, there’s more sagging, slight jowls and overall, I can see that my face dropping south! My jawline has also lost contour so I was pleased to hear that Sculptra® could be added to this area to improve skin thickness and help give more definition to my jawline.

I wanted to go for an option that would give me gradual results where my family and my daughters wouldn’t immediately guess. I didn’t want to be blown up with fillers and be transformed overnight. I just wanted friends to comment that I was looking fresher and to feel more confident about my slightly ageing skin. Sculptra® has been safely used in the UK since 2004 and Davina told me the product she was injecting was an improved formula that has recently been brought back to the UK. For all these reasons I decided that it sounded like a good option for me.

The treatment

I was told I would need 2 treatments 4 weeks apart and only around the 2/3 month mark would I notice a change and a lift to my skin. If I loved the results, I could even go for a 3rd treatment, but I was initially told to try the two sessions and to see how my skin responded.

I popped on her couch after the team applied some numbing cream on my face. The procedure was comfortable and involved around 4 injections on either side of my face. The clear liquid product which is like water was gently spread underneath my skin using a bendy blunt tube called a cannula, which I was told keeps the procedure safe.

It took about 20 minutes to place the product under the skin in the sagging areas.  My face was numb from the cream and the product also has a local anaesthetic in it, which meant I was so comfortable I found myself chatting away. I barely felt a thing!

Davina then gave my face a lovely massage to disperse the product further.

I was told to carry out this massage myself for the next 5 days, 5 times a day for 5 minutes.  I thought I would forget to do it but actually, I enjoyed giving myself that gentle massage over the week as I felt it was revitalising my skin even more. There’s no downtime with the treatment and all I had after the first session was a small bruise on my jawline that cleared within 4 days.

When I left the treatment room my face was glowing and already felt plumped up with my skin feeling smoother and slightly tighter. Davina told me over the next few days the volume may reduce a little as the liquid spread into the tissue further, but to give it time as then the product starts to stimulate my skin’s own production of collagen. I was told to be patient as the magic starts to happen after my second treatment 4 weeks later.

My second treatment was as easy as the first and I noticed a difference around 10 days later with my skin feeling smoother, healthier and volume appearing in my hollowed-out areas in the mid-cheek.

I am now patiently waiting for the 2 months to go by so I can see the fuller effects. It was a great experience at Look Lovely London and I’m telling all my friends in their 50-60’s to try it out. If you’re looking for a way to gradually lift your skin and give it more glow, I highly recommend you try this.  So far, the results have been worth the wait and I’m going to continue to see improvements!

Interested in this amazing treatment?  Here are all the details.

Profhilo – Does it actually work?

I have to admit that as someone who loves the general maintenance anti wrinkle injections (and maybe a touch of filler here and there) I wasn’t sold on the idea of Profhilo. I love the instant results a treatment can provide, so the thought of waiting some 6 weeks for the final results to take effect… Well, I’d rather just get some filler!

Sadly, filler doesn’t fix everything.

It wasn’t until I had a conversation with our Aesthetic Practitioner Melissa, that I became aware that the lower part of my face was starting to get ‘crepey’ – that so-called nice word practitioners use to describe skin that lacks firmness, and is wrinkled in texture. Literally like crepe paper… I mean honestly, it’s a tough pill to swallow!

I use high end skincare at home and cover my skin in layers of makeup every day, so I wasn’t really looking at my skin too closely. I guess the general perception as you get older is to focus more on anti wrinkle and filler – and not so much on the actual rejuvenation of your skin. Enter Profhilo – A product that promises to improve skin texture – as long as you’re willing to wait. But does it actually work and does it take that long?

Let’s keep this very real. Modifying my skin texture wasn’t really on my treatment to-do list and it wasn’t until my 4th week in clinic that I noticed Profhilo had developed a bit of a cult following. Traditionally used on the face, it’s becoming increasingly popular as a treatment for the neck and even hands. A couple of patients (you know who you are!) reported back on almost ‘instant’ results and were booking in for other areas of their bodies to be treated. One patient in particular looked more refreshed less than 48 hours after her treatment! It made me curious.

Getting Advice

If you’ve had an appointment with Dr Davina, you’ll know that she isn’t one to agree to a treatment just because you want it – there needs to be a reason and a good one at that. In fact, the whole culture at Look Lovely London is built on this principle. So when Davina herself said she was willing to take me on my journey into rejuvenation, I knew it was something I wanted to try (I suspect my ‘crepey’ situation might’ve been the topic of discussion on the group chat! 😆)

I won’t bore you with the technicalities of how this particular magic is performed. I just want to share the results.

  • Is my skin firmer? Yes
  • Is it a better texture than before? Yes
  • Does my skin glow? Yes
  • Have I knocked 5 years off the age of my skin? Without a doubt
  • Do I still want my routine anti wrinkle and filler? Of course! 😊

More importantly my skin feels…plumper! I’ve been tutted at for using this word in clinic, but there’s no better word to describe it! It’s 100% more plump and cushiony. Not exactly a technical description but that’s the reality. My make up goes on better and I feel like I have a more youthful appearance. Want to see the process? Check it out here

The bottom line?

For me, this treatment works – and I’m saying this through gritted teeth. I really didn’t want to buy into the clinic hype – but it’s it not hype, it’s the real deal. Would I have it again? Without a shadow of a doubt.

COVID safety policy

At the clinic, we take infection control and cleanliness very seriously. We are aware our clients may still worry about the spread of COVID-19. We want to reassure you that your health, safety and comfort is our priority.

We have a strict infection control policy at the clinic. On arrival, we recommend hand washing and offer gloves and masks for those patients who wish to wear them. We deep clean all surfaces, doors, handle, bannisters and card machines after every patient. We can also offer protected time slots for our more vulnerable clients so they have little or no contact with other people during their visit.

Our staff are rigorous about cleaning and handwashing. We disinfect treatment rooms and couches after every client, wearing gloves and masks if needed. We also use Cleanisept to prepare your skin before treatment – this is one of the best antimicrobial agents available to reduce the risk of infection.

We want to put your mind at ease that we have taken all the precautions to offer you a lovely and safe experience at the clinic.

We understand you may want to bring a friend or family member along to your appointment for moral support. However, in these unprecedented times, we ask you to attend alone to reduce the risk of transmission.
