What is FaceLIFT & FaceREFRESH?
This effective and time efficient facelift uses dermal fillers to restore, contour and lift the face. This treatment uses a series of absorbable hyaluronic acid gel injections to treats facial volume loss. restructuring cheekbones and softening jowls – giving an overall more youthful, lifted appearance.

How much dermal filler is used?
Each patient is treated on a case by case basis. Not every patient will have the exact same concerns, so this treatment is tailored to the individual.
At Look Lovely London we essentially have two options:
- FaceREFRESH
This will typically use up to 3ml of dermal filler, primarily focused around the cheeks and jaw line.
- FaceLIFT
This will typically use up to 5ml of dermal filler, primarily focused around the cheek, jaw line and further injections maybe needed to correct sunken temples and create more lift in the upper 1/3 of the face.
Will it give me a 'puffy' face?
The specific hyaluronic cross linking system is designed to lift soft tissues gently restoring your facial contour from a few years ago. If injected correctly, dermal fillers will not result in significant projection or puffiness. This means lifting and subtle changes can be achieved without volumising the face, leading to only natural results. You will look and feel fresher, and those who know you will think you are glowing after a decent nights sleep, but no one should guess you’ve had a treatment.
Who is the dermal filler facelift for?
- FaceREFRESH: This is mostly suitable for younger patients between the ages of 30 and 40, where some mild elasticity and volume loss has occurred.
- FaceLIFT: Mostly suitable for patients 40 years+ who have suffered volume loss and lack of elasticity to a greater extent. This treatment is more suitable for those requiring larger quantities of product to give the result needed.
How long do results last?
Results can last up to 18 months, however will vary according to the individual. Hyaluronic acid placement increases natural collagen production, so gives benefits long after the hyaluronic acid has been naturally reabsorbed. Repeat treatments are encouraged after 12 months to maintain results.
What to expect from my treatment?
When you arrive for your consultation, the practitioner will go through your medical full history, discussing past treatments you have had and listen to your story. We also want to know if you have any worries or concerns. And most importantly, the results you would like to achieve.
We will always be honest with you and assess your suitability for dermal fillers. If the team feel other lifting procedures like the HIFU or surgical options would be better, we’ll tell you.

Once you’ve decided to have a treatment, you will be offered numbing cream for 15 minutes; this ensures the procedure is entirely comfortable.
We take time to prep your skin with cream, ice packs and local anaesthetic in the product to ease your nerves. The doctor will spend the time necessary to give you the best possible results.
With our light-handed technique, at the worst, you will feel a sharp scratch and a little pressure as the filler is injected. This will ease with further injections when the local anaesthetic in the gel starts to work.
The results are instant, and you walk away feeling the new you. There can be some redness and swelling that occurs but typically clears within 20 minutes so you can get right back to your busy day.
Sometimes bruising can come out a day later which can be covered with concealer.

Sometimes further injections are needed to correct sunken temples and create more lift in the upper 1/3 of the face. This is charged additionally, however you will be able to decide the best treatment plan with your practitioner during the consultation. If additional filler is needed, it will be charged at a lower rate to stand-alone treatments.
